Research

The Streubel group is engaged in various fields of modern molecular chemistry and the reseach is focused mainly on „Reactive Intermediates“ having low-coordinate p-block elements, „Strained Heterocycles“ and „Aromatic Heterocycles“. To conduct, observe, control and analyse results of the experiments own state-of-the-art Instrumentation is used. Additional support for analytical problems is provided by the centralized facilities of the Analytical Department, which is next door to the laboratories. Our research is intensified by several Collaborators from various fields in order to achieve in-depth understanding of bonding & reactivities and reaction pathways.

The research group is committed to follow the guidelines of good lab practice as described by the University of Bonn.
