The B. Sc. programme Chemistry

The Bachelor of Science programme in Chemistry at the university of Bonn started in the winter term 2007/08. The first graduates finished last summer.

The aim of the bachelor programme is to provide the students with thorough basic knowledge of chemistry and to instruct them in performing chemistry specific techniques and in using scientific methods. Therefore, the graduates are supposed to have acquired the necessary skills to enter a job or a master programme.

The bachelor programme is built of various modules which make up the bachelor exam. After the successful bachelor exam the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the University of Bonn will cap the degree "Bachelor of Science".

The bachelor programme was accredited by the agency AQAS e.V. in 2007. It is labelled by the signet of the Deutsche Akkreditierungsrat.
